This is a photograph taken in the summer of 1991
The equipment used was an 1970s Black and White Pentax camera
In the image a monolith is shown empty and void of activity
It is a memorial for the fallen United States President J.F.K
The surrounding park is called Kennedy Grove and its location is in Malta

What makes this picture signifiant is that it was the first film photograph taken by myself
I remember the framing the image, the atmosphere of the location and the anticipation of waiting for the roll to be developed
