I have finished a rough cut of the short film Un Goût Sucré-Salé. It is a short story based on the writings of Katel Delia. Biographical, fictional, direct and provocative, it explores the idea of migration. Many of our ancestors left their homes to seek out a better life and some succeeded. Their stories passed down but distilled. Some face modern migrants with fear and others with distaste. They forget about their own stories. To know the past is key to facing the future with non-dystopian eyes. I am proud to work on this project. Every person I collaborated with has a distinct personality and the nature of the work allowed me to delve into a different medium. A challenge indeed.
