Reflections in the Emerald Isle has been declined from Hot Docs, Sundance and Dublin International film festivals for this year. I am sad but at this point I am so used to rejection that I just shrug it off and keep submitting. It is a unique film that requires multiple viewings for complete understanding. I think this why it is difficult for this film to find a home at festivals. However, I am still determined to have the film screened at least once in Canada, Ireland & Malta in the next couple of months as I await the results for the many other festivals I submitted this film too.
